Leslie Zeisler and Maria Harnoto served ice cream. Joy Furman helped Leslie and Maria dish up ice cream. Wanda Furman, Linda Powers, and Macey Taylor served (and sampled) ice cream. ICS Organizer-in-Chief Tricia DelGaudio chatted with MLNA President Linda Harvey. Wouter Suverkropp gave rides in a carriage pulled by walking-robot horses. Families climbed aboard the fire engine. Mobile Library staff Diana and Renee stayed the entire two hours. Marty Pulvers sold tee shirts near the MV Trees display. Mountain View Trees brought information… …and samples of bark mulch. Nam Tran brought information from the Mountain View Recreation Department. The robot-pulled carriage is visible on the walkway in the background. Monta Loma Principal Gloria Higgins chatted with Jenny Coogan and Ellen Wheeler. Environmental Planning Commission member Ellen Kamei, MVPD’s Sgt. Magee, and Vice Mayor Lisa Matichak posed for a photo. Face painting, always popular, was provided by teen volunteers. The extra chairs gave folks a chance to sit for a while. Kids waited in line for “Gizmo” Gary Heyman’s balloon creations.
