MONTA LOMA GARDEN CLUB

Let’s Grow Together!

Are you enthusiastic about gardening and keen to meet like-minded people? If the answer is yes, then why not join the Monta Loma Garden Club (MLGC)?

Whether you are an expert grower or a novice – or are just thinking of starting up the hobby or improving your home´s curb appeal – we can help!

We meet every third Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The exact location and agenda are shared with the members via email. If you live in the Monta Loma neighborhood and want to become a member, just send an email to klvalente@yahoo.com.

What do we do?

Apart from giving you the opportunity to socialize with like-minded people, members share knowledge, resources, and ideas. We also exchange seeds/cuttings, help each other to troubleshoot plant and landscape problems, and learn about specific plants and garden tasks/solutions.

Monta Loma is in USDA Hardiness Zones 9b (25°F to 20°F).

You can determine your gardening zone at the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture website. You can either enter your ZIP code or, for even more precision, use the interactive map to click down to within a half-mile of your home.
