The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) holds meetings on the second Saturday of every month at the CERT trailer in the parking lot on the north side of Monta Loma School. Drop in any time between 9:00 and 11:00.
The Annual Meeting and Board Election is held in May.
The annual Ice Cream Social is held on the Sunday before Labor Day weekend in Monta Loma Park.
Block parties are encouraged, with numerous being held between May and October.
The Progressive Dinner in early December was suspended for several years because of Covid, but was reinstated in 2024.
