The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) holds meetings on the second Saturday of every month at the CERT trailer in the parking lot on the north side of Monta Loma School. Drop in any time between 9:00 and 11:00.
The Annual Meeting and Board Election is held in May.
The annual Ice Cream Social is held on the Sunday before Labor Day weekend in Monta Loma Park. The 2026 event will be on Sunday, August 30.
Block parties are encouraged, with numerous being held between May and October.
The Progressive Dinner in early December was suspended for several years because of Covid, but was reinstated in 2024. No one volunteered to organize it in 2025.
