Thursday, October 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Trick-or-treating is a tradition — but we also need it to be a welcome and safe experience in Monta Loma. Decorate your home, dress up, and bring your family for an evening of spooktacular fun.
If you’ll be participating in passing out treats, please leave your outside house lights on, or place something out in front to show that you welcome callers. Better yet, sit outside to greet trick-or-treating families.
Families, remember to trick-or-treat in groups, carry flashlights, look both ways before crossing streets, stay on sidewalks, and approach only well-lit homes.
Remember children with food allergies, too. Instead of candy, offer allergy-free treats such as pencils, stickers, mini-bubbles, or crayons. Many supporters mark their homes with a teal pumpkin on their doorstep or near their fence, letting families know they can trick-or-treat safely at these homes. Info and a sign to print can be found on the Teal Pumpkin Project’s website.
This fun event will take place on Halloween, Thursday, October 31, 2019, in the evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
