The Registrar of Voters strongly encourages all voters to become vote-by-mail voters, and the majority of voters already are.

If you are not yet a Permanent Vote-by-Mail Voter, click here to change your registration to become one.

Vote-by-mail voters can drop their postage-paid mail-in ballot at any postal collection box, or dropped off at any polling place in Santa Clara County on election day. All valid ballots will be counted if postmarked on or before Election Day.

The election is not certified until all votes are counted, so there’s no need to vote early. You can see the vote-counting procedure here.

The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 22.
